was launched in
June 2008 by the Keith Hayden Family of Wichita, Kansas. Our initial
project is
the Christian Family Entrepreneurship Seminar, to be held August 16,
2008, at
Central Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas. Designed to Inspire
Your Entrepreneurial Vision,
this seminar will feature Christian serial entrepreneur, Harvard MBA,
and
founder of NewVentureLab.com,
Wade Myers.
We are wholeheartedly committed to the historic Christian
faith, as revealed throughout the sixty-six books of inerrant Holy
Scripture.
We affirm and treasure the doctrines of the Bible, God's special,
sufficient,
and authoritative revelation to man, given by the verbal, plenary
inspiration
of the Holy Spirit in the Old and New Testaments. Christ alone provides
atonement
for the sins of His people; believers are justified by faith in Him;
and we are
regenerated and sanctified by the special grace of the Holy Spirit.
Christians are called to make disciples through deliberately living and teaching their faith. Christ commanded His disciples in the Great Commission to teach all men and nations to hear, believe, and practice the totality of His Word (Mt. 28:18-20). This includes the many Scriptural principles, precepts, and patterns regarding provision, family life, work, and business practices. We continue to learn and seek wisdom to apply God's Word in our faith and life.
Important Note: This seminar is designed first and foremost to honor Christ and to bless individuals and families who wish to learn about entrepreneurship from a Christian perspective. Although we recognize the benefits and legitimacy of a variety of business models, the expressed purpose of this seminar is not to promote any specific business or enlist participants in any particular business program or model.
